Both Reds are decent and its a limited Case. The real Issue is that only Kukri Knives get dropped for the most part its the Knifes that carry a Case for example Revolver Case or a certain Finish like Gamma Case. The real Question is what current opportunity gives the most reward. I personally gonna watch what the lowest price is gonna be from mud close to end of the operation. The cost of the Case is like 0.80$ (2 Stars) so setting that as a reference point for a good deal or not.

Blue Gem NOTE: 8.5% chance = 1/12, so on average you would need to spend ~186 AUD on stars to get 1 blue gem. This 8.5% is an estimate from @CSBlueGem, checking csfloat's database for blue gems and using a sample size of 20,667. Actual drop chance might be different, we can only estimate drop percentages unless Valve releases official stats, but ~21k is a solid sample size to estimate an average drop chance from. I saw a comment which said that it was good to roll for the blue gem or to try and get FN deagles, but if you look at the statistics - CSROI estimates the profit chance of rolling to be 3%. This is probably because its mathematically very hard to get FN deagles OR blue gems (8.5%) as each roll you could get any number on the float scale and to get the estimated 8.5% on average drop chance, you would need to roll a sample size high enough to beat short-term variance (most people are not rolling hundreds or thousands of deagles). I did a quick csfloat browse. csfloat.com/item/776639751091523066 This is a listing for a Tier 1 Blue Gem (FT) for A$171.92, so less than the average estimated cost of $186AUD. Just remember (before hitting the cs2 slot machine), that purchasing items avoids short-term variance.

This is was my first "pass" I have ever bought in CS2 let alone in any game really. After getting the new cases and basically getting 3 shitty scout skins in a row I decided I'm no longer spending a dime of my real money for this stuff. Second thing that made me consider giving that up was when they removed that 1 extra credit you instantly had when buying the pass. :/
