I don’t sort. I always wash on cold except bedding. I do bedding by itself on hot. I put delicate items in mesh bags. If I get a new item that is very pigmented, its first wash will be by itself. I hang my towels to dry after each use and only use 3 times so they get clean on cold. Every so often I will do all the towels on hot with extra rinse. I don’t notice a difference but I want the towels to last. I heard somewhere that a hot wash helps with detergent buildup which damages the fibers.

I wash my towels on the sanitize setting…my bedding too. Our clothes are usually washed in warm water though

I like a lot of them! The raspberry one is probably the one we get most often, but that could be because it’s frequently in stock when we are shopping. We gifted Kinsley’s teachers the whipped sugar scent because it was a lighter, more neutral scent that is likely to appeal to most people. 😊

All together. Eight kids, two big service dogs- heck no to sorting. If I sorted, nothing would get done. I,see you know that feeling:) Laundry is one thing I cannot get behind on, ever!

My mom didn’t teach me how to do laundry. I learned by trial & error in my late teens/early 20s. I turned too many white work shirts dingy before I finally realized that if I sorted the laundry that wouldn’t happen lol.

I don't sort our clothes. I've got 3 kids, (plus myself and my husband,) and laundry is one of my least favorite chores, so it's overwhelming for me to think of an additional step. But I do separate towels/throw blankets/sheets/bedding and do them each alone, so there's less I have to sort once they're clean 🤷♀️

LAUNDRY is presorted. 2 hampers in the bathroom,+1 in my sons room. They r for whites, coloreds & darks. Trained family as they grew up. Your Oregon Viewer.

Our bathrooms aren’t big enough to fit any hampers in, otherwise I definitely would have tried a system like that. I bet it works great

Sometimes I have a problem with laundry, I try to do all my laundry in one day so I am not thinking about it for the rest of the week… that seems to work for me. I also dirt my laundry…You did a great job today and that is just by starting.. that is a big step…😊

I usually do most of the laundry one day on the weekend too. Both of my girls started doing their own laundry around 3 years old and I kept them on a routine of washing their clothes every Saturday morning.

I don’t sort… the only thing that gets separated is: my husbands work clothes, he works in the oil field and often had diesel smell on them. All bedding is washed separately also. I wash in all cold with detergent and vinegar.

If my husband worked in a career field like that I’d also separate his work clothes. 😳 I’d actually probably take it to a laundromat because I’m sure I’d constantly battle intrusive thoughts of the oil ruining the washer 😅

Happy new year! I definitely sort my laundry when I do it 😆 and I'm a widow with no kids. I'm overwhelmed! I'm decluttering most all my clothes to womens shelters. It's my plan on my next days off starting Friday! Great job Meagan!!!😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤

I sort my laundry the same as you. I've seen the KZbinrs who toss their laundry in without sorting. I cringe! It was instilled in me by my mother a very long time ago. It's just part of taking care of your belongings so they will last longer. I enjoyed seeing your home still decorated just one more time before you put it all away. Your home is so beautiful, Megan! I still have my Christmas decor up. I keep it up until January 30th every year because that's my birthday. I enjoy my decor to the fullest. Great video and I can't wait to see your upcoming videos ❤

I don’t separate the jeans, but I probably should because sometimes they don’t dry at the same rate as the rest of the clothes.

I love my Kindle and I’m an iPad user but i find that they’re pretty similar. I can watch Netflix, KZbin, Facebook and Instagram on my Kindle as well as read. Some things aren’t compatible, but I don’t miss having an iPad or anything like that.

I almost lost my mind when I figured out that when they were little, my kiddos would throw things in the dirty clothes to avoid putting them away or when they got a bug to change their clothes during the day. Once I discovered that, “dirty” laundry decreased by more than half. If you’re interested, I have some strategies to help with too frequent clothes changes. And, btw, I sort. 😊

We don’t struggle with that, but thank you anyway. 😊 The laundry had piled up like that because I hadn’t washed any clothes in nearly 3 weeks lol

Yes, I, too, sort my laundry. And I think you should do a tutorial on your folding method. You do it so fast in the videos and the pieces all come out the same size which makes for good storage! I love it! Please consider a how to segment. Happy New Year🎉

It’s the Konmari Method of folding, works great! I am planning to do a closet/clothing purge soon…so I’ll definitely make sure to include some tutorial style clips of how I fold everything. 🤗

Yes same! I’m def a sorter. I spent all day folding and putting clothes away and omg I’m never letting it get this bad again. I still have like 5 loads to fold😭😭

I tend to wash all clothes together. Having said that, your routine is a great idea with a family of 4. It would give you guys peace of mind. Loved this video of various areas in your home. I dont know that I've ever owned a laundry basket or hamper. We throw our clothes straight into the washing machine each morning, then I wash, dry, fold, and put away as soon as the laundry is done.

Happy New Year 🥳. I too sort mainly the whites for one load & probably 2 loads of pink/reds/purples(I have 3girls) and the rest blues/greys/blacks etc another 2/3 loads. Yes daily loads are a must for a family of 6 and I still can’t keep up with it. 😂😂
