for AG no, it's 7th place. i'm a dupeless enjoyer and obviously going and getting mask shards at 4 different locations is not going to be faster than getting them all in one place lol. i suppose you could argue that this is the fastest time for this route but that's a very low bar considering dupeless only has a small cult following as it is, and dupeless category extensions have a fanclub of like, me and 2 other people. the actual WR right now is 1:57.13 by IronRose! kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6LGoaeAmJKrqpY

The ruleset for this run is in the title of the video. All glitches runs go on a separate leaderboard than no major glitches runs. Comparing AG runs to NMG runs is like comparing apples to oranges; there is no competition happening here between the two. transition storage is very picky about the things it allows you to interact with, and unfortunately grey mourner (and most other npcs) is not one of those things. if you have transition storage and try to interact with (most) npcs the interact prompt will fade for like a fraction of a second and then reappear again without the text ever popping up. it does the same for tolls and lore tablets (except for the ones in kp, but kp is just a weird room in general) but not iselda or benches or doors, team cherry really just made a game full of spaghetti basically lol

this video is a vod of a speedrun using the all glitches ruleset. because of this, the gameplay may look a bit unfamiliar if you haven't watched many glitched runs. i have no idea why youtube is offering this video to people genuinely looking for advice on finding the whispering roots in their first playthrough of hollow knight, but it is. please don't complain about that in the comments. i recommend looking at nmg runs or the hollow knight wiki if you're stuck, here's a run by someone else that will probably be more useful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJyxnJtnfaZgY9E
