Gives a masterclass on comedy and its place within a larger societal framework. Q & A is mostly questions from Community fans asking about Community Also, so funny that most of the comments are jokes about the awful editing. It actually created a wave of comedy, entirely by accident.

Dan: "What does your bad stuff look like?" Season 2 of "True Detective." It's a hot mess. That said, it's still better than 99% of the crap on network TV and some streaming services shows. It's probably not fair that it gets compared to Season 1 (a masterpiece).

I'm lukewarm on Dan Harmon stuff, but wow. At 41:00, Nick has just done this amazing, expansive explanation and Right over Dan's head, "teak ok, new question" completely ignores it and asks the question he had from three minutes before. What a f*to freak thing to do.

other than an obvious fact that Nic is an incredibly talented writer we should appreciate his efforts and struggle he said about. We would never know season 1 if Nic just wrote a masterpiece and did not fight for what should go into scenes and how it should look like.

I can't believe she is asking that question to an Indian and she is Asian. We, Arabs, never leave our parents home unless they get married or move away for work. Otherwise, we can be there forever and our parents don't even want us to leave, especially if we are not married. If we move out, it's like we are betraying them. It's a cultural thing and has nothing to do with being broke or being lazy, or not acting like a grown up.
@joshgorsky5224 Жыл бұрын
can’t believe everyone’s praising this guy. He made 2 great characters but they’d be nothing special without the performances. The true reason the show was a borderline masterpiece was the direction of Cary Fukanaga. (case in point, the best scene by far, Rust undercover, was Fukanaga’s idea and Nick fought him on it) The proof is in the pudding, Cary left because Nick is a narcissist, leaving just Nick (No Cary, Matthew or Woody) and the show tanked.
@DanMiller. Жыл бұрын
The show didn't tank though. Season 3 was great. And for season 2 they just didn't have enough time for development and production, even the executive in charge of the show said so.
