The 7.30 Folkestone-Cannon Street starting at 3 mins 30 secs into the video looks like a CEP/BEP pre-refurbishment. As it's got full width tables at every seating bay I'd say it's the driving car next to the buffet car on a BEP. No sign of any teas or coffees from the buffet, though. One wonders what the bridge players on it did once the CEPs and BEPs went for refurbishment and the South Eastern Division did away with buffet cars in the early 1980s.

I assumed from the thumbnail that this was going to be a BR training vid, and my first thought was their music choice for it was impeccable!

I never understand why at least one full set of each class were not put into long term working preservation for future generations to experience

Standard BR blue and grey livery with tungsten light bulbs was my scene for these units. The later liveries I never liked together with those appalling strip lights!
