I always love that choral bit after the Emperor explodes. Almost like his wicked and malicious presence is draining away into the ether as he’s destroyed. The sound design in the movie almost drowns it out, but dammit if that whirling gale doesn’t sound powerful.

That sudden surge of panic and desperation at 1:28 that crescendos at 1:44 will always give me chills and get my blood racing. So perfectly handled, that sense of fear as they realize they’ve walked into what could very well be the final gasp of the Rebellion.

Seeing Yoda fade away with that tragic music will always make my throat catch.
