Irish alphabet does not contain ⟨j, k, q, v, w, x, y, z⟩ so eg we use BH for a V sound. The name Sio(bh)an, might make more sense now. In English, question the letter W. It is actually double U. In french double V. In Spanish they have double L as in mi llamo, like a (y)amo sound. Question your own alphabet then you'll understand Irish spellings. Simples

lol. Those subtitles are complete whack… zero relation to the Irish words being said. The song is about drugs, police, and finishes up by them saying the only rules they obey are the rules of grammar in their native language. If you watch the Kneecap Movie you’ll understand what their songs are about.

Basically, from what I saw of the lyric translations, it's mostly a "Fuck the police" song, although with a bit of a more light-hearted and funny tone than, say, NWA from back in the day. One word you might notice gets said a lot is Garda (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) which is the name for the Irish police. They also get referred to once by the old name RUC (Royal Ulster Constabulary), which had a pretty questionable record for brutality, anti-Catholic bias, and even working with Protestant paramilitary groups against Catholic and Nationalist groups. Most of the rest of the song is talking about the good time they're going to have at that seedy party with the drinks, drugs, and women at the end, and how the cops can't stop it or catch them.
