Not a vet, myself, but I'm the grandson of an Army veteran and the nephew of a Marine and there are few demographics I am more grateful for than veterans. A bit of related-unrelated music suggestion, as in different music genre entirely but the same as in support-our-troops, I recommend "NotBroken" by the Goo Goo Dolls. It's sung in the male voice, but the narrator is the military wife, actually. John Rzeznik wrote the song for a military wife whose husband got paralyzed in combat and didn't want to come home because he didn't want her to see him like that, so broken, and she was fighting to get him home because THEY were not broken, and she wanted her husband back, leg function or no. And it really inspired me that my favorite band would tell her story like that. I don't know if it will catch your fancy, but I figured I'd recommend it just the same. I highly recommend watching Frank live if you like his musical ability and personality. He makes original music on stream as well, and has a lot of compositions that he worked very hard with (which are on Spotify as albums). I can tell you that he's every bit as much of a great person as you would think. He's humble and kind and a bit of a joker.

I just wanna say a mega HUGE thank you for your service and for reacting to this song by Sabaton. I remember when the 9/11 attacks had happened just two days before my 13th birthday and wanted to join the military to avenge America but I couldn't due to being mentally challenged but the least that I can do is honor those who have served and even more so for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and not go to come home again to their loved ones.

For the first time, she is being herself, and perhaps realizing that she had been insecure, hiding herself in musical theatre. Now she is free and I hope to god she doesn't go back to be stifled once again. Her personality, creativity, vocal power and technique will be in full evidence on the concert stage, a la Dion, Streisand. She can sing all of the great show tunes just fine in that venue, certainly better for us as an audience than Sydnie singing one great song per musical theatre performance.

The film and the music is the need and call to reconnect with your ancestory. The woman in the movie video is Indian. Yes it is a Maori centric song by Stan Walker ( literally one of the best voices on the planet ) but the call to reconnect with the land and ancestory is universal and human
