No if you reach a stiff peak it won't lose its texture..if you have extreme heat type weather can take a bowl of cold water or ice cube when you beat ..it will help you

Hi, i have a question. If i put less water in the sugar when heating, it possible to add lemon juice instead of citric acid? I want to make this, but there's none at the store. I do have cornstarch at hand. Perhaps adding more sugar and one tbsp of water and 3 tbsp lemon juice? Gotta do something lol. I might just have to give it a shot. I hope to receive a comment from you before i make a mistake. 😂 Anyway, thank you for this recipe and even if you don't get to see my question, I will let you know how it turns out.

@@DelishRasoi I have made three cakes so far, I am trying to build a drawer like image. One of the cakes is vanilla, second is dolche and the third is chocolate. I will send you the end result and if the recipe for the fondant works. From what I understand, the citric acid has a little bit of salt and more citric acid. When lemon juice is cooked, it loses its Tang. Wish me luck! 🤩

Have you ever tried using gel colors instead of luster dust? I want to make a plum-colored one, but I'm having trouble finding a luster/petal dust in that exact color. I was going to make my own dust, but I thought maybe I could skip that step and just add gel coloring to the tylose/CMC mix.
