that's very relevant question. i was wonderng too. i know, that they give guarantee and what not, but things just happen, and if- for some reason- the thingy would get stuck and stopped working-spinning in one direction, then it might become impossible for a cat to return home. i would say, that the system also relies on learning pattern, that cat will stop trying by the time the thingy would go wrong(year, two), maybe.

@@jaridkeen123 things happens. If somebody left the gate open, cat goes outside without anyone knowing it and owner closes the gate. How can Cat get back to home then?

Depends on how high your fence is. eg as long as the Coyotes cant jump the fence without touching the top like deer can.

@@cristinaf2415 ; yo los compré en la página de ellos, no lo encontré en España. No intentad fabricarlo por vuestra cuenta. Primeramente encargué que me hicieran algo parecido pero no funciona igual. Tuve que acabar comprando los originales. Es caro la verdad, y has de pagar gastos de envío también altos, pero el producto original merece mucho la pena...Más te gastarás si a tu gato le atropella un coche y has de pagar la operación de una rotura de hueso por no mencionar el disgusto o la posibilidad de que pierda la vida....

Vienen de fuera y el producto no es barato; unos 50 euros el metro pero de verdad que funciona 100 por cien instalándolo lógicamente a partir de una altura de dos metros. Tengo seis gatos y ninguno ha sido capaz de franquearlo. Es más, lo intentaron algunos sólo una vez y en cuanto vieron que caían al mismo sitio sin ninguna posibilidad, jamás volvieron ni a hacer la prueba de nuevo. Asumieron que era zona imposible. Luego te paso el enlace. Aunque sea caro, más cara es la vida de tu gato, o cualquier intervención que tuvieras que hacerle por atropello si tuviera la suerte de salir con vida de un accidente. El dinero mejor invertido, te lo aseguro.
