Wow Amazing Kit . I have the Boechat Moto Electric start kit and in its day in 2009 it was the best around . I really do like this kit from a number of key points . 1) the motor is in a much better place to service 2) The electric Motor spins at a much faster speed , which overcomes the traditional issues of a an electric start motor spinning the flywheel too slowly. And not generating enough spark voltage ,, so this kit overcomes that issue . 3) Because the Motor mounting orientation is in this new area not previously used by other manufacturers, Like Boechat , Baja designs , Xrstuff , Cnc fabrications , its a whole new rethink about space utilisation and centralising the mass as close to the CoF G . 4) The battery connecting cable length is very short reducing voltage losses . 5 ) The kit comes with a well thought out 24 volt system for utilisation of a dual 12 volt battery system , very clever 😊. All in all i think this is a very premium system . Iam still very happy with my Boechat Moto system and it’s been running since 2009 , but this new system I think is even more advanced IMHO . Looks good. I have an xr650r and want an electric start. You say all the parts are yours. I presume the one way clutch uses springs and rollers , and they will need replacing at some point. How do we get spares for that. Is it a std part I can buy online. Thanks.

Cool idea but com on that's a 20 plus year old bike . Most people who have one now only bought em because they were cheap and are not going to spend this kind of money on one. Now if you could build a kick start kit for a new KTM that would be something.

I have a video called ''Starting a XR but without all the drama''. It is so simple to kick start. I wouldn't mind having the electric starter but anyone with some experience can kick start any bike.

Great finally a starter kit avaliable, but anyone using a different carb or a aftermarket exhaust like a doma exhaust with the headers that are on either side of the head won't be fitting this kit ..

super cool hope youre still selling this next year as im done putting money into the bike this season lol. only thing i dont like is that this system makes the lower clutch adjustment harder to get to and make adjustments with. how easy is it to swap out clutch cables with this electric start installed? also does the "batteries not included" option also include the at relay module shown at 16:05? what about the battery mounting system?
