i wish i was female in this lifetime i would have tried my hardest to get on that team... in my early to mid 20's( 2004-2009) i was unexpectedly hired as a choreographer for a dance studio, after i went there to audition to be part of the company as a student. i did receive education for free from my boss who became like a sister to me<3 she believed in me and told me no matter what style she threw at me i grasped it quickly as if tho i was already trained.. thats a quality that all these women exemplify . so i just know i would have made it <3 oh yes in my fantasy im gorgeous too lol

Kelli is quite an accomplished and professional woman. Very talented and believes in always being prepared. Even though she and Judy have to make tough choice in cuts each year of hopeful girls they encourages them to come back next year stronger by working on defeciences and some girls come back tougher and stronger.

The only weakness I see in cheerleaders is their tumbling. Two of my girls did high-level gymnastics their entire lives and some of the gals who couldn’t cut it as a gymnast went into cheerleading. I watch cheerleaders tumble and I’m just waiting for a broken neck. If you can’t tumble really well, don’t do it.

This was a wonderful interview, but I was appalled by all the revenue discussion in light of the fact that according to some sources, the DCC girls get paid very little.

Now, if the DC Cheerleaders could get some financial benefit proportional to the revenue, that would be amazing!

This was an excellent interview. People poo poo cheerleading on every level. Me and my mom watch Making The Team it's informative and speaks to how demanding it is to perform at that level. Kelli's a Wonderful spokesperson for the team and a savvy business professional.

I love Kelli Finglass I admire her even more than before! she’s so well spoken! I had no idea she was the one behind getting DCC A Barbie doll, their uniform into the Smithsonian museum and more! I have no doubts she’ll get them a start in Hollywood! Can we get more DCC Content as well! I really enjoy learning their history!

This was a wonderful interview, and I laughed when Kelli proposed the wake up and wiggle (and wine) camp for adult women. I would sign up with my BFFs. We love to take birthday trips together. We're Cowboys and DCC fans too from OU! Like the DCC Barbie, count on a quick sell out

Kelli I love watching the DCC show because I love dance & gymnastics. I took both as a child. You are an awesome director, instructor, role model, and drop dead gorgeous! You've changed so many young women's lives and whether they make the team or not, they all respect you for your candor and compassion. More corporations need directors exactly like you. You go above and beyond for the DCC as well as the organization. The pride you have for your organization shows in everything you do and say. I'm currently watching the 2021 season and enjoy it immensely. I'm 57 years old now, but watching the show brings back fond memories when I danced and tumbled! Kelli you are an inspiration to so many young ladies and the organization is lucky to have you. Keep it up Kelli and God bless!

I thought this was interesting, however the overall revenue should reflect in the girls salaries since they’re generating the money, but it doesn’t 🤷🏻♀️

The cheerleaders get squat for pay but many do it because they hope being on tv will give them exposure to jump start their careers. The DCC team makes So Much Money off the women from having them pose in swimsuits for 5 different calendars, the group photos they sell in different sizes & then DCC is paid by companies for the cheerleaders to show up. Don’t forget about Netflix & Amazon sells the individual series of shows people pay to watch so DCC is making Billions of the women. I’m sure there is a lot more they make off the women’s faces & bodies too. This is what DCC also list as Revenue: Appearances, Shows, Camps, Audition- you have to pay to audition, Competitions, Television & Sponsorship
