Back in the days of what we now call the "VINTAGED" stereo days you couldn't go wrong with the Realistic brand sold exclusively through Radio Shack Stores formerly a Division of Tandy Corporation! For example look at this beautifully designed STA-117 sold also under the Memorex brand through Tandy. Many of the Realistic line was custom crafted in Korea. This listing here says that the STA=117 is rated at 100 WPC RMS whereas I have seen the STA-117 also rated at 55 WPC RMS? Which of the 2 different RMS per channel wattage is correct? How can one obtain a user's manual for the STA-117? The Realistic STA-117 replaced the STA=116 in 1989...

I own two refurbished pairs of Dovedale 3 loudspeakers and for the money i paid they were a bargin. I doubt i could buy a better sounding new speaker without spending well in excess of a £1000.
