Она же датчанка. Как она смогла так выучить французский язык?
@whyhihigh Жыл бұрын
she lived in France from age 17 I believe - plus Danes speak with sounds from the throat, so it’s often easier to speak languages which require more forward speaking rather than our native sounds.

Intelligent. Large eyes of hyperactive brain and sexuality which must move her to act through the emotions in an effortless nimble manner, yet is capable of the cold heartless poker face of the actor. Fascinating creature.

Nicely done, a classical twist on inducing the audience to finally root for the bandit just as she did, as if she intuitively knew it from the beginning. However the plot develops into something much more serious than she seems to intimate in her apparent sillyness, because she becomes the anti hero of a coup against high society itself, all on her own, leading and impossible to follow even to the very end, a coup also on the soul of the “witness” - as the doctor calls himself in the end as a counter St peter to the witnesses of Catholicism of the times. Lamiel, the mistresses of all mistresses, is the spirit of young women from Paris, loving the unexpected, child woman for whom there is no limit like her criminal and dark male alter ego she always was in love with. And of course her name means the she honey, yet is a prime agent of the French revolution climbing the ranks within the dying aristocracy thanks to her mutual employment with an ambitious revolutionary doctor who has despise and contempt for the silly nobility, one which follows cravenly her charms instead of leading them and surprising them, and which has no regards for his discipline and science, taking it for granted. In the end she dies and becomes the hero for the cause while the doctor himself is accused by her of betraying it, too comfortable and cowardly in his present recognition in high parisian society. He finally relents and gets one more time out of his comfort zone for the cause, giving her what she wants, the scandal of sleeping with a street rat and putting him on a pedestal at the opera in humiliation of the society as she dies for him. She becomes the antichrist, the lamb that the feminine always successfully strives to be, to conquer against all arguments contradicting her world and her place in it.
