Hello! Happy New Year! I just want to say that it is so cool how you performed the first verse of this carol in German! I learned a few years ago that this carol was originally written in German. Also, I visited both Germany and Austria during my vacation to Europe a few years ago, & I learned that the languages German and English have a lot in common! By the way, did you perform the second verse in French? (I’m currently studying French at university!) Also, I happened to notice that the orchestra was playing snippets of “Away in a Manger” between the verses of “Silent Night”!

I love your rendition of this classic show tune from South Pacific! 💙 You know, I had first heard this song when I was about 5, and I only remembered very few lines from it - didn’t hear it for a very long time after that. Well, just a few years ago, when I first discovered your videos of you singing with your local orchestras, I *rediscovered* this show tune!

@@MichaelDeLuca1 A peculiar comment. Knows that something may have been cut ... empathetic-Lee... and then leaves up to heaven what else is missing? That commenter isn't looking at the libretto- it seems I echo all the positive feedback given here. This is probably the most well tuned cast I've seen in performance. I bet it was amazing to attend in person. Kudos @MichaelDeLuca1 ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day 2024 🎉

Dear Mr. DeLuca -- I've been a fan of this brilliantly written piece since seeing it live in Chicago in the early 1970s -- thanks, mom -- and have probably watched the movie production more than 20... 30... 40 times? Please allow me to offer my praise for what your players did here. This is brilliantly executed. Given the video qualities in that era, it's hard to cross-compare... but I sincerely believe, as far as the musical and kinetic performances go... this is on a par with the cinema version. It is carried off brilliant----LEE! (pins, Abigail) Thank you!

Hi Michael. Thank you for posting this. This is such a great production. It is nearly impossible to find a full recording of this musical. You all did a great job. Your Richard Henry Lee is priceless! All voices are quite outstanding. It is difficult to get enough men with strong voices to pull this one off. The women's voices are just excellent. Your John Adams (Steven Marsocci) is so very good vocally and acting. I have tried to find him on Facebook but have not connected. I don't know if you are still in touch with him. We have done 1776 in our Cocoa, Florida Community theater four times with much of the same cast. It is something of a club now. Our original cast, and two other casts, performed 1776 for all 11th grade students in our county for several years as part of an American History curriculum written by a cast member (HS teacher) who portrayed Martha Jefferson. I have portrayed Witherspoon, Judge Wilson, and John Adams in three of those productions. We will do the musical again in March of 2021 and I will be Adams again. Your recording is serving as an excellent tool for learning the lines and songs. Thank you once again for your efforts in posting this.
