Final phase is not that hard if you're even a little experienced at prayer switching, and if you're a noob at prayer switching this is the perfect place to practice since the punishment for missing a prayer is so low (take ~10 dmg, if you die waste 1 min walking back to the rat - if you miss a prayer at Jad you can take 90+ and waste a whole 1hr+ fight caves run). So don't just stay on mage and tank the ranged, play the fight properly. Once you've got the technique down the last phase is actually the best one imo since he can't heal, so I would suggest using spec weapons earlier in the fight especially with DDS so you can get the poison ticking. The only difficult bit of the fight is at the end of a heal phase, you have to be ready to switch to protect melee immediately after his last attack lands - if you can do that then you should try to get the perfect Scurrius combat achievement. Once you're comfortable with the fight you can start lazy flicking (only turning the prayer on for 1 tick to block an attack then turning it back off) which will let you get many kills per inventory without using any prayer pots.

I agree with you that this is the perfect place to practice prayer switching. My aim for this guide was to make for people who want to get a few kills in at first and are easily overwhelmed by everything happening around them. So a simple way to kill it at the last phase is to just pray mage and ignore the ranged attacks and evade the falling rocks. Once people have gotten a few kills in and feel a bit more comfortable, then you are right about practicing this boss as it essentially was crated to, prayer flick and eventually get a perfect run. I learned the way I made this guide for other bosses such as whisperer. I focused on one thing, got it down, became comfortable and then moved on to the next thing. It takes more time for some than others, baby steps is the key here ◡̈ Appreciate you taking your time to write down all the information you have given and I hope it filled in information that I might have missed in the video and that it helps someone who visited this video :D 👊

"Try to attack on the first attack" - That was the missing note that I needed and was absent from every other guide. Once you do that, enrage phase becomes easy. Thanks for the help!

@@The_AliB it's been phase 3 up till now. Got to the enraged phase once only, around my 20th try and since then still trying to figure how to switch correctly. Sometime I am switching too early sometimes too late. Some times on time but my attack delay causes me to get hit by the tentacles a lot. But I do feel like my reactions are getting better

After 10 more deaths Ive finally beaten the boss. 64 deaths in total. Reminds me of my first tries on Corrupted Gauntlet. Lots of deaths but in the end when it finally clicks, you start making it consistently. Thanks for the tips man. really helped . Also really helped seeing someone not with max gear fail and then succeeds after many tries. It gives others in the same situation hope

That was the goal with my Duke video as well. I could not afford Ahrim when I made this video so I kept on going with void. Practice and patience gets you. along way :D
