The rankings are that way all the time, Dave. If you're ranked high, it's harder to get knocked out. They give you the benefit of the doubt.. And if you're trying to break into the rankings, it's much harder to move up in the rankings, even though you proven it early.. It's like to good old boys club.

Ok, so I will give props to JTT. Yes he played better. Still up to the level he should in my opinion. Yes the linebackers played better. So that is good. They need to keep improving. Lastly, Will Howard has played well. But his one issue is the his deep ball is not good. My question is, is there anyway for him to improve his deep ball at this point?

The defensive coaching staff needs to let Hicks and Sonny pin their ears back and attack the ball downhill. Our coaching staff focuses too much on putting players into a box. Some players perform better when they're playing aggressive.

Our defense has to tighten up on 3rd down. Sonny is still learning the position, he'll continue to improve with better coaching. He needs to continue putting on that grown man weight and he'll be just fine. I see Sonny in the mold of the San Francisco linebacker.

Coming from a die hard Indians fan. Who’s going to the ALDS game 2 on Monday nite. Been a fan of 40 years. Terry francona isn’t it. He’s past his prime. He will barely move the needle. I just posted on Ohio State. My comment was brushed off. Ohio State is the biggest coward college football team in history. They p,any weak teams that have no chance of beating them. Toledo, Miami of Ohio and others. Their conference is weak but why does Ohio State never schedule a game with an SEC team? It’s simple, Ohio State wants nothing to do with an SEC team. Ohio State wants to play,at teams they can beat 70 to nothing, but, they know they can’t do that to an SEC team. Not one SEC team so Ohio State hopes they never have to play the SEC. Ask Ohio State about LSU or Florida in national championship. Sure Ohio State may win against SEC teams in championship games but not very many. The fact is, Ohio State play played no strong teams in their conference and they never schedule an SEC team outside of their conference. They rather play Toledo and Miami of Ohio than take on an SEC team. Many schools take on the SEC but never does Ohio State. At the end of the season Ohio State is in good physical shape because they play weak teams. The SEC is beat up because they play tough teams and the SEC will still beat Ohio State because Ohio State is it use to being hit hard as hell. Ohio state builds a great team that is like glass. They will be broken by a real college team.
