I cannot believe you black wires a active (hot)... is this typical in the US? Over here in Australia, it is illegal to use black wiring for anything other than neutral.

Dawn, never work on live wire. Red to black should be 240v, it can kill you.

Dawn is in the US... it's 110 volts over there. It can still kill you (under certain scenarios). But let's be factually correct.

So let's review your house purchase journey, 1- You made an offer on a house because someone finally accepted your offer not because it's what you really like/wanted the house, 2- buying a house during a horrendous economic time 3- in a time where you have a deadline by end of month when escrow is 30 days and escrow hasn't even started 4- tenants are still living there in a house modified like an apartment 5- no backup plan -6- relying on ex to extend your stay when you were originally ordered to leave August 2023. What was going on between August 2023 to June 2024 in terms of planning an out with backup plans?

@@LetsBHonest I was working with a lawyer to change the conditions. End of May 2024 was the court hearing and I lost. So from May to now was taking action to figure out where I go. Back up plans are in place. I've been looking at houses and have made over a dozen offers on houses.

This was an amazing podcast to me at work yesterday listening to you ramble on catching up from sleeping the night before! EUC community are indeed weirdos in their own unique way! The Sherman L will definitely be the very first, one and only EUC I will get and need if I am to get one! Just a strong, smooth and reliable one is all I'll ever want and need as a car-replacement!

Im back in the hospital the broken leg decided to send a blood clot to my lungs and heart and all I can think is i will never get to start riding again.. maybe 2025

Omg! The only thing I was ever hospitalized for in my 20+ years of life life so far was food poisoning which I fully recovered from within a week! The several crashes on my bicycles and electric scooters (the worst one which took me months to fully recover from with a damaged left hand nerve) only due to my recklessness and rushing never brought me to the hospital at all and I recovered on my own! I can never imagine riding one of those things and if it is ever worth the risk after witnessing that horror!

Here’s the long story if anyone wants a read. @DawnSChampion I’ve always been a fighter, never afraid to try anything. After this, I don’t have much more fight left in me. I went back to work last week, worked three days after being off work since May 22. A pinhole of a scab still on my surgery scar got infected. The VA argued with me, so I called my surgeon, and he prescribed antibiotics. I took the pills for the first time Wednesday night, woke up Thursday, and made my way to my shower chair. I got in and started coughing up blood-bright red chunks. I thought maybe I had a bloody nose and it went down the back of my throat, so I blew my nose-no blood. Now I was concerned; maybe it was a side effect of the medication. I got to my work computer, logged in, and started to get a sharp pain in the lower third of my back on the right side, feeling like it was inside my ribs, not outside. A few hours passed, and it got worse. I tried to call all my doctors-no answers, just voicemail at their offices. I texted my home PT for my non-weight-bearing leg, letting her know I wasn’t in a condition to do PT. She showed up, assessed the situation, and said it didn’t seem like an emergency. So, I waited for my doctors to return my call, still thinking it might be a side effect. At 4 PM, the pain was so bad it felt like I had broken ribs or someone was stabbing me every time I tried to breathe. I was gasping for air, and my doctor’s clinic called. I could barely talk without saying “ouch” every second I tried to breathe. He told me to go to the ER. I was already trying to figure out how to get there. I was on my bed, in the corner, with pillows and blankets making me a barely comfortable rest. I tried to scoot to the edge so I could ninja from my bed to my office chair to my wheelchair, but I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t talk, and was getting dizzy. I finally got to the edge and found a shoe, tossed it at the wall to get my elderly mother’s attention. It didn’t work. Like drowning and trying to scream for help every time you come up for air, I tried to scream and get her attention from 10 feet away in the adjacent room. Finally, I got her attention, gasping and cursing in pain, trying to get her to call for help, 911, something. She got ahold of a friend, and he was on the way. I still needed to get over to her. She thought she was helping and moved the office chair that fits in my room and put my wheelchair at the door. With only one leg to use, that leg requiring a cane and ankle brace on a good day, the distance I needed to hop went from 4 feet to 10 feet. I’ll put this moment in my top 10 most painful pushes through in my life. I eventually got to the wheelchair, 120% about to pass out, but now the chair needed to be lifted and rotated to fit through the doorway into the hallway. She kept trying to push the chair, but I couldn’t breathe or talk. I grabbed the arms, leaned forward, and twisted my hips as hard as I could. I was now in the hallway enough to maneuver out. Finally, the ride got there and got me in the car and to the ER. It ended up being a loose blood clot from my surgical leg killing my right lung, and some clots were in my heart. I’m now completely regressed on my leg progress. The blood thinners have my knee more swollen than ever, the bursa wants to explode, and my left leg is 30% weaker than it was. I went home today, but I’m coughing up stuff when I lay down. I keep getting winded because some of my right lung is dead. I always joke I need a Murphy’s Law tattoo if I don’t die before the end of the year. After I’m off this 6 months of blood thinners, which they were pumping through me like dialysis, I am usually full of fight, never giving up. But I have nothing left right now. I need my body to heal before the next disaster. I just want to ride the Sherman L before my body decides to fully remove that prospect from my future.

Sorry you crashed that always sucks when you crash but the important thing is that you get back on the saddle again. Hope you are doing good Dawn and remember always stay strong and keep your head held high and one other thing you got this.

Yes.. definitely need do remove the sink (and the plumbing) to get the other top off. And the sink will go back in after the other top is replaced. I'll have to go and watch the recording of the live stream, so I know what is going on!!

This is a common occurrence with these universal bits. I use Ryobi cordless drills, and the exact same type of bits stick in them on occasions too. I can usually free them up by giving them a sharp tap on the side [with a pair of pliers or something hard]. But sometimes I need to use the vice too. I suspect that different tool manufacturers make their fittings in slightly different sizes... and when one is a fraction smaller than the other, they jam in when they twist inside each other. But... I definitely feel your frustration 🥰

HA HA HA HA!! Sorry Dawn! Something came over me when I saw this video. I thought things only happen to me. I was doing the brakes on my ebike before and a washer thing fell off and rolled away. I frantically looked for it for 10minutes with the small flashlight and then the big flashlight and eventually gave up! It wound up rolling in the opposite direction of where I was looking! Sorry I konked out during your live chat last night. I normally go to bed around 7-8pm to wake up at 3:30am to go to work and your live stream started about 9pm my time but I did hold on as much as I could. It looks like things aren’t as grim as I had imagined them being for you. You will definitely pull through but it may take some time! Mark AKA EUC SENIOR
