If you come across this issue and are beating your head against a wall like most. Take of the quick disconnect fitting( likely still on the cooler line) off with a fuel line tool. Oddly enough a ford tool worked 3/16 and purchase Dorman part #: 800-605. Treads right into the newer style radiator and fits into the transmission line as well. No need to order a custom machined part!

The problem with these evap canisters is that you have to remove the three bolts I'm not sure if it's 12 mm or 10 mm and then there's a little pin which is like a lock pin you supposed to pull from the back of the plate that you remove with the canister and then the whole canister slides out you replace the new canister and pull the pin back in you locked and you can understand pace that way when you driving the air fixing won't pull the canister back it will lock in but it can break the little pins on the new canister that holds the bracket to the canister in place so don't forget to pull those that pin in that video you saw is because he did not take the pin out you don't need to hit it with the mallet just remove those three bolts

I was watching this one night with a friend and all of sudden the light zoomed straight pass me directly to the ground and I yelled to my friend “DID YOU SEE THAT?” But even tho we were shoulder to shoulder looking at the same thing in sky she didn’t see the bright light fly straight passed us cuz it literally looked Like it landed right beside me right next to my feet and later on that night I notice for the first time ever I start seeing a bright white light in the corner of my view like if that light flew directly in my eye I even went to the emergency room to see what this was I was seeing in my eye and they had told me I had a detached retina and that I needed to see a specialist but this has been about 5 or 6 years ago and I still see the little ball of light in the corner of my eye every now and then but back then it was like every hour and I’m putting this out there cuz I want to know if anyone else experienced the same thing or something similar

As much as I tried, I could not get those three connections to release. Had to take my Jeep to my shop. It took them about 15 minutes with the Jeep in the air. These connections are awful all over this vehicle.
