So your what's your solution there professor? I'm guessing your neither a carpenter, builder or engineer. If you say to only use straight timber then I suggest you go outside and find me a tree that's straight, over here in the real world that's standard carpentry. You do realize there's also flooring sheets to be glued and nailed to these joists and then a whole structure built on top? of all the problems in the building industry I can assure you this is not one of them. Nice try tho
@ProfessionalKafir11 ай бұрын
Norwegian carpenter apprentice here, you hit the nail on the head. You need to bend joists a lot to use the lumber you got on site. Often even the straightest joist needs a little bending to align. Ofc you should plan your straightest pieces for flooring, studs etc. Use the straight wood where that accuracy counts.

I got me a new 16 oz wood handle estwing coming to me by delivery . I never tried the 16 oz wood handle estwing but I bet it's going to be a great hammer probably with 90% shock resistance. Estwing hammers is all I use and been using them for the past 25 years . There's no hammer better than a good old estwing

You forgot the most important part, that it was a Swedish guy who started this.... "Estwing Manufacturing Company is an American manufacturer of hammers, axes, and other tools, founded by Swedish immigrant Ernest O. Estwing in 1923. The company is headquartered in Rockford, Illinois".

Interesting but lifeless demo of this new bit of kit, what about a slow-mo demo of how it works in the sludge or even a CGI psysic example. I'd also change the corporate lift music, it's hardly stirring stuff. I actually just bought one this morning from my advanced thinking suppliers (Woolens, Cannington, UK). It was double the cost of the normal metal paddle cost but seeing as how the welds just pop with every metal one I've owned, time to change. If this works I'll be dead chuffed, first mix will be lime putty mortar with sharp angular aggregate sand and fibres for an exterior wall.

I lost count of the 28 oz hammers I’ve purchase over the years. I was extremely irritated when losing them or when sticky fingers would attach to them! But I always get excited when getting a brand new shiny 28 oz Estwing. No other hammer will do in my trade. I’m in the concrete trade so believe me when I say the 28 is unmatched. Every time somebody has a different hammer I tell them to get a 28 oz Estwing when they break the junk they wasted money on lol. I just purchased the 30oz recently. I still have my latest 28 but always wanted the 30. It’s so shiny and new I hate to take it to work but so excited to use my new Estwing. Keep up the good work guys stay American made PLEASE!!! I always put an X in my handles and call them Excalibur. God bless America.
