Teach children how the Godhead thinks. Thinking is the first act of worship Romans 12.1. It will never depart from them. And, discernment is enabled. We taught our 12 children from 1978 when David was born to 2005 when Tabitha was born. We also fixed their names into the biblical narrative and our own cultural heritage. A history written into eternity already.

PRAISE The LORD for HIS WORD that went out with power and conviction . May The LORD bless HIS WORD and cause many to turn from pride to humility. I was reminded how Nebuchadnezzar was humbled because of his pride and satan was cast down because of his pride but The LORD JESUS CHRIST humbled HIMSELF and took upon HIMSELF the form of a man and went further to become a servant . There is no greater example of humility than our LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. May we have the same mind of CHRIST.

Many Preachers can teach from the Word of God. But the depth of the Word you don't get to hear in too many churches. I am so grateful for my husband to have found this place . Every time I leave the Church Service I feel like wanting to become a better person. Sometimes inspired and sometimes convicted but both ways work for me.

Wow! Seriously my brother, I was so blessed by this little study! We are far more inclined to concentrate on OUR inheritance in Christ….BUT, when I read again and saw that the scripture teaches that WE are HIS inheritance also, it actually came to me with such force that it inclined my heart and mind to want to be the best inheritance that I can be for HIS glory! Wow! This changes the way I’m thinking about my life and how much of Jesus Christ is seen and known in me by others. I am so grateful for this teaching - I see what the scripture is saying about this more clearly today than ever before. Thanks John. Yes there are many who want themselves to be worshipped rather than Christ. It is easy for men to be tempted by Vanity, to seek power and glory for themselves, rather than to give all the Glory to the Lord our God.

Thank you for helping me understand the root of anger that took hold early in my childhood. I recently had an awakening in therapy where my angry inner child was recognized and I envisioned holding her and comforting her and loving her. She was rooted in anger from being threatened and ignored. Every time throughout my life I was triggered the root grew stronger. I married and on my wedding night my husband got drunk, ignored me, spending the evening with his friends watching basketball and made a fool of himself. I withdrew. It took me 20 years before I could speak of it to him. He got angry with me. It destroyed our marriage. I didn’t understand my anger until I entered therapy because he wanted me”fixed”. I am so grateful to understand how I became so depressed. Before I found your sermon I prayed to God to open my heart and I found your sermon. What a blessing !!! Thank you!

The true identity of a christian is the Christlike nature that comes through the Spirit of CHRIST dwelling in you, how wonderful is The Word of GOD that not only encourages us but also corrects us and leads to the feet of our LORD AND MASTER who alone can transform us by breaking melting and moulding us into vessels of honour for HIS GLORY.

This is the most powerful message for every Christian to hear and to do . I stand under conviction of The Word and cry out to The Lord to let this love work in me until it's all of JESUS and not of me .
