This helped me out in a lot of ways... Like, the distance I need to be to make the paint work better for me and my projects. And how to remove the safety cap, I didn't know those cans, came with a cool safety feature. It is true, knowing is half the battle.😊

i painted with dems once, he is by far the most talented artist i have ever met. his approach to size & simplicity, his appreciation for low quality local cans of paint, his creativity to choosing spots, he's a visionary like no other. I will forever carry his wisdom with me

Works great on guitars! Prep and sand the body really good, put on a layer of clear, by can or brush. sand if needed. Apply black primer. AK Modelling primer works great. The slowly build up the glitter effect. Do this in 5 to 10 thin layers, leaving about 5-10 minutes in between coats. The glitter paint dries pretty quick. Just don put your layers too thick or you might have paint running. When satisfied with the result (I used about 2 cans of the glitter effect paint) for a guitar body, let dry and let the paint harden out for about 2 days. Then get Montana gloss clear (again 2 or 3 cans) and repeat the process. Do not sand the glitter paint! Do not worry that is a bit uneven, this is normal. Your layers of gloss clear will level the finish. Let dry again for a week or so, then start wet sanding, using a 800 - 1000 - 1200 -1600 - 2000- # gritt wet sand paper and buff out using Meguiers buffing compound (or 3M, whatever you have at your disposal). Patience is virtue, if you follow the above steps and have done a few guitar re-fin's prior to this, you can't go wrong. The process was much easier then I anticipated! I used Montana X-mass red glitter paint and it looks like a sparkle Candy Apple Red! I went with A DIY Hallmark style Bass body that I made out of a slab of Mahogany on wich I attached a Squier Mini P neck, did both body and headstock with the glitter effect spray paint.... I can assure you, this bass is a looker for sure!!!!

The fact we're getting glossy options is cool, but the video got lost in the 1-second vibe cuts and forgot to show us the paint or the piece.

I want a product to add over a paint job before using a clear coat lacquer like you would get from most car part places to encapsulate the glitter . Will this stuff react when mixed with a clear lacquer top coat purchased from any car accessory shop . I noticed most questions unanswered but hope you can with this ?
