I did the same as you did but the screen remains black. I used ssd1306_Fill(White) function to test, but display is black.

I do hope you are willing to do more videos. This is the first step-by-step video I've seen that presents a clear, repeatable and very useful workflow. It's not at all obvious with ST's documentation just how to do what you did, and what many of us need/want to do. The F429 mcu looks to be a very useful mcu for my needs, but until now, I was somewhat lost on how to use the tools ST provides to accomplish my goals. Thank you!🤩
