Really liking your descriptions. Was able to find out many things i didn't know. Yes i realize this is almost a year ago . Still i really hope someone will read my message and question. I ordered some Iberis seed awhile back and the Iberis had purple flowers very much like the white flowered cultivar. I lost track of whom i ordered them from and want to know if anyone has any idea that can help me find this plant . I have not seen a single cultivar that is not white. Yes im positive it was Iberis and not Allysym . I might forget every couple of hours in my garden where my trowel is ( lol ) but i know my plant classification. Please anyone has an answer. While i wait i will continue to look for my trowel. Lol😂

Thank you for sharing. Since it's a compact version can I put in a larger tallish fabric pot (15gal 14-16" tall)? I'm in Zone 7A Central Va. Do you have any suggestions on what to do? It's a wonderful pollenating plants and swarming with bumblebees and various others, so I'm loving it for that and why I bought it.

What is the difference between seed and vegetative? Is that how they are reproduced, like how some plants are grown from seed while others are grown from tissue culture?

Has anyone had experience getting it to bloom again after the first bloom?
@kashmiri1968Ай бұрын
Yes, deadhead after the first bloom and then keep deadheading the spent blooms during the season. I'm a novice gardener in Zone 5 and my Rose Marvel salvias bloomed from May to mid-July last year using this deadheading practice. I love it so much, I purchased a couple more to add to my flower bed.

Good helpfully info.I planted some regular purple coneflower seeds couple yrs ago.One of my plants that bloomed last yr well and this year I noticed a whole new color sport growing withing it.Its a unusual green and light pink.Some blooms on a stem are smaller compact short pedaled solid green with a solid green cone,and the next one might be a long skinny pedaled with light purple on top and green on the reverse with a dark cone.Ive been growing plants for over 50 yrs and never had a plant do this. Any thoughts of what's going on. I got pics I can send

I just saw this at my local garden centre and grabbed one, I might go back to grab the other two I left. When do they typically start blooming? And will they bloom til the frost take em?

I'm always trying to propagate using cuttings... so far, I'm not great it it. HAHA My question here is, do you have to cut right below a node and that node is what will be stuck in the soil OR can you cut anywhere and roots will form along the stem, even if it wasn't cut just below a node? Also, is it possible, like coleus, to just place a cutting in the soil outside in your garden? Thanks for any advice you can give me! :)
