Sis I am a somali from Dire Dawa and I assure you if I take my DNA it will come back as an 50%somali 40%Ethiopian and 10%Eritrean ... etc do you know why? Cause somali is an ethnic where Ethiopia and Eritrean are nation meaning a mix of different ethnic groups. Unless the test is specificly saying you are % of Tigre or Amhara or Afar...etc I keep telling people Ethiopia or Eritrea is not an ethnic like somali or somalia. Even for somalis when there test comes back 30 Ethiopian it doesn't mean anything apart from saying possible you are of somali from Ethiopia. Unless of course it says the ethnic or at least the region just the same way your father. By the way your sisters look like my kids with the forehead an everything 😂. Fact, Eritrea, Afar, Hara4, Djibouti, somali region and Somaliland were all once under one sultante from the time of walashma, Makhzumi, ifat and later on Adel sultanate. You see, the Tigeyans are more closer to Afars and somalis that they want to be closer to Amharas or oromos. By the way, there were Greeks, Turks, Arabs mainly from Egypt and Yemen, Indians, Portuguese in Dire Dawa. So it is possible that she may have a grandmother from Greece.
