if your project is linked with shared coordinates , you'll not lose association
@MuhanadFakhri20092 ай бұрын
another question, why you used actual start and completions? arent you doing it for initial planning scheduling? i hope i am not missing anything
@MuhanadFakhri20092 ай бұрын
you did not enter any dependencies into the schedule, why? no ss or FS etc relationships, is there anything in particular that relates to REVIT so you did that?

What is the definition of a Georeferenced DWG Survey File? Is it a DWG file with a coordinate system set? Also, are the coordinates in your example, Grid coordinates (vs. Ground/Surface)?

What kind of autodesk version are you using?
@bimandbeam9657 ай бұрын
in this video, I use Revit and AutoCAD 2020, but the process works for all versions of Revit
@ArenGuv7 ай бұрын
Does the site file acquire coordinates by modeling creation with the DWG inserted? Or, at this stage, are the coordinates from the DWG also published to the site file? Subsequently, the coordinates from the site file will be published to the ARC, STR, and MEP files.
@bimandbeam9657 ай бұрын
in total, we acquire coordinates from dwg file into the site file , then we publish the coordinates from the revit site file to all disciplines

@@bimandbeam965thank your sharing! i have 2 qeustions. in other yt share, they say is a disease if aquire the cooridnates from DWG? i just want to know why(even my practice is same to yours) second, if some MEP or STR models already “be shared coordinated” we cannot pulbish the coorindates to them. so how to resolve it? i think this is a common challenge for users:< Thanks!!

sorry ,stipud question , is that be more nice that the survey points always keep 0,0,0, for all differnet models but they work in the same site??thank you very much.

This video went from helpful at first to going too fast. It may have been adequate for someone who already knows, but for someone needing to learn, it wasn't. I'd rather have a verbal explanation accompanying all the actions instead of annoyingly repetitive musical beats. Sorry.

Finally, what I was looking for! Because when you search for Revit project phasing organization, it usually reffers to Revit standard phasing of New, Demolished, etc. But normally in Europe we use the term phasing for the project management, just like you show here. ! Thanks for the tutorial !
if we knew what the heck you are doing we would not watch the video, how about slowing down and explaining what you are doing -_-'
