I went there in the mid 80s started off in Lee house then it closed then I was moved to Marnhom house ( think how it’s spelt ) . Our year was full of trouble with kids off the tantany but years above and years below were good . Mr Smith was the head teacher at the time who was really good . The council cashed in at the end and closed it down instead of fixing its problems . The facilities at Churches was the best .

[IN MY OPINION] Waterford airport is an ALRIGHT airport it doesn't have a very long runway or anything really, If they extended the runway and space for let's say a 737 then it would be a really popular airport but it will cost alot of money to make it larger.

Unbelievable. How do you stop the Mazak castings from pitting? In those days, Britain had world-class engineering. Very few of them were university graduates. Today, everybody is a university graduate, yet we import all our engineering. What happened? What wet wrong? IMO, education was handed over to the socialists. It was like forcing the best and brightest to mark time for three years, because it was everybody else who was important to the socialists.

I had a chance to buy one of a pair of P4s with only about 15000 miles on their clocks in early seventies- they were like new....almost, but like a fool I purchased a 3.5 litre saloon. I have owned a couple of P4s earlier, but frankly the 3.5 wasn't a patch on the P4- the quality wasn't quite there, although it had PAS. The P4 is a devil to move from a parked position. Unfortunately a pristine P4 is fetching quite a lot of cash these days and you might be better served to buy an oldish Silver Shadow Mk2.
