Some do centralize Mary more than Jesus though. Honor and remember her indeed. Let her rest in peace in Christ and worship Him alone.❤🙏

you should talk about Jesus Christ, not mary, who is a sinner and not a virgin. the roman catholic church has "lots of stuff", man-made doctrines and practices, which are not supported by the bible. this is why the roman catholic church is comparable to the pharisees.
@saltlightradio9579Ай бұрын
What would that say about Jesus if his mother was a sinner? To be blameless wouldn't he have to be exempt from original sin? If she was not a virgin what would that say about Jesus? Is it possible that Jesus who loved his mother, more than even we love our own mothers would wanted to save her from sin? These are just questions I would have if Mary was a sinner and not a virgin. If she is not perfect how can Jesus be?

Mary says how to God about bearing His Son not about having children with Joseph after Jesus as Mark 6:3, Matthew 1:25 and Acts 1:14 indicate strongly in a direct familial sense and not just because apocryphal Protoevangelium of James ( not really James but likely early Ebionite cult exalting Mary as sinless ever virgin raised in the Temple).❤

What was your favorite memory from speech and debate?
@mandymusshafen2092Ай бұрын
@saltlightradio9579 I loved competitions! I really enjoyed getting up there in front of the judges and arguing my side. I loved getting the judges comment sheets back also! I made a bit of a name for myself by using song lyrics in my opening or closing statements, and a lot of the judges (who were mostly college kids) loved it. They would almost always comment on it in their notes! I quoted everyone from Everclear to little orphan Annie! 😆
@saltlightradio9579Ай бұрын
@@mandymusshafen2092 That is so cool! I love the idea of having song lyrics in the debate. It would be interesting to see how you did that!
@mandymusshafen2092Ай бұрын
@saltlightradio9579 Thanks! When I quoted Annie, I did it in my opening. Our debate topic was gay adoption, and for my pro side argument, I gave a standard intro stating my position, and then ended it by saying "In the words of Charles Strouse's Annie "It's a hard knock life for us!" Almost all my judges left notes that they loved the Annie reference!

The Bible is the inspired word of God. 1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” Luke 1:46-47 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 1 Corinthians 10:4 “And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.” 1 Samuel 2:2 “There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. Mark 7:7. “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” 1 Timothy 4:3 “Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” 2 Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 1Ti 3:2 - A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Tit 1:7 - For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; (1000+ victims of 300 priests in Pennsylvania alone) Hosea 6:6 “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” Rev 3:16 - So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Better to be a born again Christian and find a good home Bible study group.
