Great tiny toes grooming. Enjoyed as well as gaining knowledge in grooming my tiny toy poodle. She does not like her pads to be messed with. This little girl you’re doing is such an amazing client. 😊

We have a 8 month old GWP; how the heck do you keep him so calm? Frida is getting plenty of training and exercise but she is just still so... !!! Is it a step by step sorta deal where you just gotta get them use to the process (like what we've had to do with her healing) or do you just give them pot? ;) (kidding)
@DogGroomingTV2 ай бұрын
Yes this dog i started as a puppy about 10 weeks old. You have to start with small short daily sessions and teach them to lie down if you can. That helps. Lots of exercise before big grooming sessions and lots of praise.

I appreciate your clear instruction on how to hold the paw and nail. I have never been as diligent about my dogs' nails as I should, and have always groomed my own Cockers. I would just give them little snips and hope for the best. I have a grinder but think I may need to move up to a Dremel. what model do you suggest?

@DogGroomingTV10 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! The bottom of the ear hair should not fall below the point of shoulder. Otherwise it makes them look a little dumpy in the front load to the ground. All the recommended products are in the description of the video with links on Amazon for you!

Should I rake & card or just one or the other? Im not showing him , just want to take proper care of his coat.
@DogGroomingTV10 ай бұрын
If you're not showing you can take and card but just be aware that if you take you are cutting coat so it's going to stick up and curl a bit. I recommend the fine andis rake if your going to use anything😁

Same but trim the tip as short as you can without showing skin to try and make it even with the occiput. That helps create a square outline.
