NFL is my favorite sport and i watch more of it than the NBA. But NBA athletes are better (not much because all pro athletes are freaks) athletes than NFL guys. Like you showed with the contracts. If you have the talent for both, you choose the NBA

I honestly think they’ll both have a hard time adjusting to each other’s sport. Basketball players would most likely get killed on the football field and football players would get embarrassed on the court.

The NFL in particular is full of superior athletes. They are bigger(not taller), waay stronger, much faster and can jump higher on average than NBA players. The footwork needed to play a skilled position in the NFL is insane. Football players can transition to any other sport much easier than basketball players from an athletic perspective. The main reason why football scouts look to pluck athletes from other sports(BB, soccer, track, even baseball, etc) is because 1) You never know where a diamond in the rough may be and every pro sport keeps and ear to the streets for that. 2) football is such a game of attrition that the next man up is more prevalent 3) there's more pressure on coaches to win in the NFL than any other sport in general so the sport evolves more as a result because coaches are willing to experiment. This topic is not new it's been going on forever. basketball players had a much better chance of being "dropped into" the league athletically 50 years ago. Today the NFL players are so elite a young monster like Anthony Edwards would get embarrassed every game. Just as easily as he would embarrass NFL players just "dropping" into an NBA season. It takes time to work on the craft in each sport. But the physical nature of NFL football is too much for non-collision athletes to just "drop" into no matter their skills. But like I said, NFL players are more athletic that's why you see pro football players play more pro sports than basketball players. No one really talks about whether NBA players can maybe run in the Olympics or hit a fastball. And there's a very good reason why there aren't any skilled position NFL players 6'8 and up, they don't have enough skills to play FOOTBALL. So to think Lebron(or anyone else that tall or taller) would just come into the NFL and play is a joke.

Its about money, there's more little white girls than black girls in America. You all need to leave that racist shit alone, remember that giant black woman smoking weed in Russia, now do you remember that white soldier, the other prisoner in Russia, the one that's still there? This Country was designed to keep our minds far away from the Gospel, the Bible says we are one in Christ, United States Government says we're the exact opposite, we watch football when we should be at Church.

Dark I respect your honesty but it’s more than the temperament. I shouldn’t have to point out to you the THOUSANDS of excellent collegiate football players that DON’T MAKE IT. You’re gonna just slide a 6’4” 200 lb NBA player in front of them? C’mon bro your bias perspective got the better of you on this one.

In today's current NFL you can't do head shot tackles . This current NFL the most dangerous for running quarterbacks. Tide ends normally has way smaller players defending them.

Football players are stronger and more athletic. Basketball is more about finesse and precision. Football players would have a much easier time on a basketball court. Football players prepare to get tackled. Basketball players avoid fouls as much as they can

Imo I think from pure athleticism football players are better, like Myles Garrett, football is pure athleticism basketball involves too much skill for it to a fair comparison. Also looking at bronny James, his stats and measurables would probably have as one of the best players in college football.

Honestly just look at them in highschool and college. Most nba players and nfl play multi sports in high school sometimes college. (Because of rules) A lot of times these players are state champs in both sports. More nba players that are just better at playing basketball than football at the high school level then it becomes a business decision. At the end of the day your going to be better at a particular sprt and thats the one you choose. What your best at because it fgices you the best shot at making the pros. Its not about being soft or not. That was always the argument low key in school the basketball players are soft and the football players are uncoordinated

Football players just in they feelings...there's positions in football that are purely athleticism driven mainly on defense unlike basketball where you can be a great athlete but cannot be effective just running around on one end of the floor because you have to play offense and defense. And mentality means nothing...if those nba players NEEDED football to get by they'd step up. That so-called mentality is needs driven. Them bringing up mentality is shifting from the original point based on athletic potential.

@UR_AL_SHOOK_UP Bro, it's not that deep. Basketball players have the physical ability to play football namely defense or special teams as those are based on pure athleticism. But while football players definitely have the physical gifts for Basketball, how many of them could shoot or dribble?
