I wish I could have been there but honestly it was doubly stressful watching at home. I was very impressed with Tobi (his riding not his language). He certainly upped his game when it mattered. A final to remember and replay for years to come. Contrast this with the Premiership final which was dull as dishwater.

Great video guys!!!! Not only did my heartrate peak, but I apparently had 210 active minutes on my fitbit 😂!!!! A night to never forget. My entire 25 years of life being a Poole fan and that really was a top 5 moment!!!!

If we are still in the Championship then definitely Nathan Ablitt and Anders Rowe. Both got the short end of the stick at Poole and have blossomed with other clubs.

Why are you always complaining? This is a really competitive field. The lineups are better matched than a lot of exhibition meetings. Richard's done a good job with this lineup. Especially after several riders have had to drop out due to the Polish playoffs.

Great show. Richard is a top bloke. I did wonder at the wisdom of signing him initially as in speedway rider terms he is approaching the veteran stage but by god he delivers week in week out. I can't be there unfortunately but I will definitely purchase the livestream.

Really entertaining show and great input from Karl and Alex. II haven't checked out Raw Speedway yet so I will remedy that asap. I am one of the old guard having been a Pirates supporter since 1969 and have tried to introduce new people to speedway over the years. The sticking point always seems to be doubling up, guest riders and a complicated rulebook.

Oh wow! Loved this one. Although been following Poole for roughly 40 years, I’ve never taken much time to understand the technical workings of the bikes or the track! This was so informative, thank you for continuing to bring us the podcasts.

So good to have you guys back. The season starts here! Not sure about that brick wall Lee. Will Ben be doing any of the shows? Great insight from Rob Dyer although he badly needed a microphone. Maybe you could have borrowed one from BSN. I don't know if the PirateCast family are regular attendees but it would have been nice to get their reactions to the whole matchday experience. Finally is there any chance of new t-shirts with the flaming background?
