Bless you for sharing this wonderful video. I've been looking for a punch embroidery video that shows how to do lovely precise stitches ( most seem to be big and bulky) and this one is brilliant. I do embroidery but my arthritic hands hurt so I thought maybe a punch needle would be more user friendly than my tiny needles. How many counts of threads are usually used in Kantha stitch?

Totally depends on you... If you want the stitches to look thicker then you can use 6 strands, if you want the stitches to look thinner then go with 3 strands
