Is it actually 70lb? If so im happy you can draw it so simply. Might be worth testing its draw weight, though? Not because i doubt you but I doubt aliexpress

No i test the bow right out of the box with bow scale it came right at 70lb@30in

What bow string would you recommend for a 55 or 60 pound fiberglass longbow?
@arrow34325 күн бұрын
For a bow for 50/60lb, any bow string should hold up great. I personally use 550 cord if i can't afford a good bowstring.

Awesome test. What weight of arrows are you using with this bow? I have the 85lbs version single piece and carbon arrows with DIY 8mm steel rod points (total weight between 40-50grams), as from testing handshock can be quite strong with light arrows.

Is that the Alibow takedown bow?
@Richardsmith0012 ай бұрын
Nice work, if you're worried about spine and want to shoot heavier arrows ACCMOS have .200 spine carbon shafts that take standard nocks, a 28 inch shaft with an aluminum 6mm diameter 1mm wall thickness tube glued in will get 1000+ grain arrow, ive done this with cheap 300 spine carbon arrows to get 1000 grain arrows for my 100lb+ traditional bows.

How much is the handshock with these bows?
@arrow3437 ай бұрын
The handshock bit much, but what i did was put just a peace of cloth or cheap leather and rap it in some electrical tape, and it cuts that shock down a bit and feels good.

Probably yes, but just to show the people who say 550 cord strings make a good backup, thanks again

That’s pretty darn far so do you think u would get more distance if you used a modern bow string? God bless.
@adders457 ай бұрын
How far are you shooting, I have the same bow with 700odd grain arrows I'm getting 220 yards or so. Looks similar to your shots. Very knackering to shoot though, top pocket!
@arrow3437 ай бұрын
225yds 230 yds we use 10acker for scale distance.

Well done, I've got two of these bows, 100lb and 120lb i added cork/rubber handles for fishing rods, i found it helped a bit with the hand shock
Hey my friend, very impressive. You are doing great. Keep practicing and before you know it you will be too full draw and beyond. Great job take care and God bless..
