I would be really excited if it wasn't for the TONS of open bugreports, some of them quite severe, leading to data loss. Innovation should never be a higher prioity than stability when it comes to dealing with important files.

All the features that are implemented are great. This is a great update to an already great product. The ability to run your own local server is actually one of the greatest features ( for specific organizations) as with today's "Cloud only" world it's becoming so hard to even have an offline Collaborative Calendar or Collaborative Task manager!!!

Dear Devs, I am super excited and thankful for the work you are putting into this fantastic project. The world needs this, the school I'm working in needs this, and I need this. That said, I have a small request: THE MAIL APP. Please, can you stop pushing new features (and bugs) and fix it? At some point, I stopped writing bug reports, since even critical ones, like ghost emails resulting from using external email clients, or missing pictures in forwarded emails, are not being worked on for years. The log is practically unusable since it gets spammed with email errors constantly. The problem is that it's such a crucial app, and the quality difference between it and the rest of Nextcloud is just huge. 🙏

Never had a reason to bump to the Beta channels before. This tiny and old Dell Optiplex 3090 is crying right now, but so far worth the upgrade. Question that I've yet to find a solid answer for: Is there a reason the richdocuments app (Nextcloud Office) runs so terribly slow on small deployments?

I'm incredibly disappointed in the lack of supporting amd GPU. This is a bias toward Intel and nvidia when and is years ahead of Intel while working to catch up with Nvidia on GPU. I cannot use your solution nor recommend it to customers as a tech consultant until there is amd support.

Groups, Circles, Teams - aren't they just the same thing basically?

I'd like to be able to use Nextcloud for my dental clinic, but I'm unsure how to properly integrate it. There's no dedicated app designed for clinics where I can specifically view patient information, sync it with the calendar, access their medical records, make annotations directly on the odontogram without having to create a separate document, hand-write notes, and upload photos. It would be ideal to have printing capabilities to provide patients with hard copies as backup, leveraging AI based on the odontogram and my notes could help patients better understand the care they require and the reasons for follow-up appointments. Inventory management is another missing piece - AI assistance to review supply expenses, utility costs, and perform analysis based on patient volume and treatment types, whether monthly, weekly or to forecast potential shortages would be extremely valuable. Lastly, integrated tax management tailored to each country's regulations and updated automatically online, eliminating the need for specialized tax accountants, would be key for small, new businesses navigating varying tax laws across countries. If I had all those capabilities, I wouldn't need anything else. Greetings from Argentina.

Did you know that with each new Release (Hub) you increase the complexitity of the system. I'm now 70 years old and I'm a Bachelor of Computer Science since 1980 with some update at ETH Zurich. But again, I feel sometimes very unhealthy in the documentation and/or forums as well. Please note that if you continue to make it more complex I would be out of focus, once again since the retirement, and also you - don't forget - in 40 years. My dream 40 years ago was to make it simpler for human beeings not the opposite.

I always like the moves forward, but really I'm waiting for a better integration with external communications. The calendar app needs to communicate with other system users (GMail, Outlook, etc.) so that attendee requests have only one accept button that will add the event to their calendar and also update the Nextcloud calendar with their response. Right now two different Accept buttons must be clicked to achieve this and there is no synchronization for changes. Also the Mail app still needs the ability to autocomplete external addresses that are collected senders, especially with a history of replies already, without having to add them to Contacts. The Mail app search still seems to fail/timeout when searching body text. Autosuggest should also include Contact Groups and the new Teams. These are the things that really hamper Nextcloud as an enterprise competitor. A direct link to Create a Deck card from an email would be an excellent bonus, right next to where Create a Task is now.

I've been harping on Nextcloud's performance for quite a while now, and I'm glad to see that Nextcloud is continuing this trend of improving performance started in 28. To me, Nextcloud is too focused on new features rather than being more conservative and refining existing functionality. I hope Nextcloud continues on this trend and listens to their end users. I'm looking forward to testing the performance improvement in Nextcloud 29.

a noob question i'm on debian 11 and at first i couldn't do sudo because it wasn't there by default on debian after installing sudo i'm getting ./occ command not found i'm at the correct directory and i could see the occ file in ls what am i doing wrong ?
