Rewatching this after a year and jumping from Roland IMMEDIATELY to Horny Roland is evil.

I think the one thing that keeps me from enjoying Blue Archive more is the lack of details, like, it's a vibrant interesting setting with some cool details but there's NO foundation. The little or big details are just completely unknown, like halos, or even what the fuck the girls are, or hell what their favorite food is most times, and you just have to sit there. Not once does Sensei go: "Wow so what's with the rings in the sky or that big tower?" and not once does a girl go: "Oh it's magic." You just have to look at the pretty picture and accept that that's all you're going to get.

The biggest foreshadowing of Don bieng a bloodfiend is her base, Zayin ego. The blood motif, healing when attacking bleeding enemies - several people already made theories in regard to Don being a bloodfiend just based off of that. There's also the little bit about her eyes in canto 2 that captured some attention. Edit: There's also her knowldege of Carmen and distortions, the latter of which bloodfiends qualify as in some weird, not yet fully described way.
