The key thing in this song is balance between the parts, and holding the tension long enough to make the resolutions effective, and these were really evident. The 'healing waters' section was very effective, just the right amount of 'ripple' between the moving parts. Thank you for such a wonderful interpretation. This was the perfect acoustic for it, but also an amazing choir and conductor.

A magnificent voice and performance. Thank you so very much for posting, this made my day! This song is especially meaningful for me, as I have recently learned of the passing of Albert McNeil, another prominent gospel artist, and I have been deep in mournful reflection and remembrance, of hearing Dr. McNeil's Jubilee Singers, February 1976 in concert at college, during which this exact song was sung. I had never heard it before. Ever since that day the absolute gravity, the majesty and pathos of that perfornance has remained with me; now I am doubly blessed, far more than I ever deserved, to find that kindred spirituality reincarnated here. Your utterance of this song is a gift that I will treasure.
