You can also do that with multiple things at once. Drop three dishes, go out, come back in, place them and they will be saved at that spot. It has something to do with their sandbox loading. The first stage is: What belongs to that house? The second stage would be: Where is the items exact position?

UPDATE: Hey guys it seems I am still getting messages about this video 6 years later. I will answer a few common questions. 1- What if I don't have the "_CommonRedist" folder? Find the Direct X folder for the game within the steam files and run the DXSETUP.exe file. You can search Windows explorer in the top right-hand corner, type in "DXSETUP.exe" 2-What if there is no DirectX folder/files for this game? This fix will not work for you, see answer 5.3-Does this work for Mac? No, this fix is using a Microsoft Direct X installer tool by Microsoft Corporation. 3-Does this work for Windows 10? Yes, the file structure is usually the same, you may have to go digging for the exe file. (see answer to question 1) 5- I tried everything but its not working? Have you tried: confirming correct sound settings in game, reinstalling the game, reinstalling sound drivers AND reinstalling Windows? 6- How does this fix work? We hunt down the DirectX installer tool made by Microsoft and run it to re-install DirectX files that may have been lost / corrupted. P.S. Hi so i just saw this video. Im having the problem uve discussed but i got the game from epic games cuz it was free. So not on steam. I tried to verify the games files through epic games and when i launched it, it worked. But then id have the same problem next time i launched it. So then i found a video about the direct x files so i did that and of course it worked again. But then i just runned the game and the sound cut off again. So im just getting frustrated. Other solutions ive seen is to unmute the game from the volume mixer but i cant access that when the game is opened. So idk what else to do.
