That’s great because I needed to do this. However now I have the opposite problem. I inadvertently turned off tracking on a long hike and when I realized, I had lost over 8 miles. Is there a way to manually add to my track. I did restart so there is a big gap on the tracking map? TIA.

Can you edit in the middle of a track??

No, though you could export the GPX and edit it manually with a number of tools.

I don’t understand the difference between the waves, swell 1, swell 2 option, because they all show very different readings often. Can someone explain what the difference is?
@joshuacaldwell354
@joshuacaldwell354 4 жыл бұрын
Swell 1 is the main swell produced by remote wind Swell 2 is a smaller swell produced by an other remote wind Swell 3 mostly is very small and neglected. What is the interest of knowing these different types of waves? For Surfers the best conditions are a strong Swell 1 with low Wind Waves and low Swell 2/3. With strong Wind Waves and strong Swell, waves are very disorganised especially if their directions are different ... « like in a washing machine » For Sailors, Wind Waves at 90º of the Swell direction give a «cross sea » tougher than a sea with all kind of waves in the same direction ...etc... Hope it’s clear for you now.

Hi Mike, glad it was helpful for you! The site has plenty of features about the sea and the air... not as useful for mountain climbing but very useful for sailors and pilots like yourself!
