This song is so hard to hit the notes on. This cover is admirably good. One of the best on KZbin. 4/5 stars but I mean that as a big compliment! Most attempts at this song are in the 2-3 star range and I’m not sure there’s a single 5 star cover online as of 2024. Other than the OBCR couple, basically no one can do this song perfect. And even those two didn’t hit all the notes on most nights.

This is probably the best rendition of this song on KZbin! The feeling you put into this song and you add so much more to it making it your own. Fantastic!

This songs seems easy to sing until you try singing it yourself and then realise there’s so much within it that makes it really different. The tempo and dynamics switch up very frequently, and you’ve got to be very precise in where your placement is changing from head to chest to mix with every other lyric. You’ve also got to be really particular in where you breathe especially in the chorus, otherwise it can sound rushed or out of place. As well as being really articulate with your words, but that’s a given with most musical theatre. So yeah, moral of the story this is such a hard song to sing when you really look into it. And Rachel KILLED it, if I had her voice I would never shut up because she makes it effortless
