Re the speed, my epson R3000 smears on my chosen paperstock when it runs faster. So I like to keep the speed slower. It is fine on inkjet stock. Slow is good for me!

Hello. Thanks for your video. i wonder why you started out with Happy Japan. Are you happy with the quality? I have a melco and I am at a point thinking of getting another machine but not Melco. I am looking into Tajima and Happy Japan. Would be great to hear why you picked Happy Japan and if you have any issue with tech support and if you are happy with the quality and the machines. Thanks

@@tdodo3026 hi! I actually started with Brother PR655 (The 6 needle) and then after a lot of research bought a Happy Japan 12 needle. For all the information I recommend checking out one of my earliest videos (happy Japan v brother) I know in this conversation we are comparing Happy to other industrial machines not Brother which is more a hobbyist machine but the video addresses why I went for Happy. I mainly picked Happy because they have a lot on engineers in the UK so there is plenty of support, also because their machines are more compact and home business friendly while still retaining all the features of larger industrial machines.

Ah. Thanks for writing back and explaining that. Did you ever consider tajima? Thanks

It might be cool to print your artwork, then embroider some standing monocolor lace that matches your artwork, but only focuses on texture and lace pattern, and then combine the two. Like say for example a semi-3D version of your goldfish in a bag or those giant highly detailed back patches you make

I would be very interested if you did the full 40 minute version! Were you already familiar with graphics programs like illustrator or corel before you learned to digitize? If so do you think it made a difference in your learning curve?

Meanwhile in Brazil starving 40 years and jobless too, hail the perfect system, where no matter how smart u are, u stay poor and die in the "sub" side. My IQ is 10 points higher than Einstein, not much but it's amusing I have to be covered in disease and so hungry all these years, with torn clothes. I know and speak 15 languages, fixed electronics with plastic at age 2-3 already knew physics too, all to starting doing child labor and end up like this. Amazing work, keep it up. I would just suggest that you wear a respirator or have the room well ventilated. You don't want to inhale any fumes when using the heat press.

you get that little iron up to 200c? that's almost 400F, crazy high. I use 205F for iron on and that works fine. I'm afraid to take it any higher and blow a fuse lol. Also that's a great idea, sublimating on freestanding lace, I've never seen anyone do that

Thank you for this video, Im new to all this. My machine was used and I went under the assumption that everything had already been set. I started looking at all the patches ive made to this point and noticed I was waaay under tensioned on my bobbins and over tensioned on my thread. After a few test stitches, I got it dialed in just like @0:46 and doing a patch as I am typing this and I havent broken a thread on this patch. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
