Love the reviews as a fellow historian. Trying to get in touch with you. A couple shows I would like to see are no longer on your channel. The 1983 National Resident Pro Championship and the 1985 True Value Open. I was talking to Darryl Bower about these shows last night but they don’t seem to be available at the moment to view. Do you still have access to them?

We have had to remove over 2k + videos on multiple platforms. The ridiculous powers that be on KZbin and Facebook do not respect those that actually do the work to save and restore the content. They only respect those that reuse the works of many only to rehash it in a compilation or AI video clip. Years of our work had to be removed. We do have hundreds of Tapes and will be looking to roll them out in the future in some sort of fashion that will protect the original work and also our work of the Restoration process. Thanks for being a fan stay tuned.

I love the way it holds the line and hits very hard. Pretty ball too. BTW, I just obtained a brand new in the box never drilled Brunswick Cobalt Rhino Urethane in 14 lbs, my weight. Original box and warranty card. As you may recall the Cobalt was the last of the great pancake Urethane Rhinos and the strongest one made. This one was made February 1991. I hope to have a video up soon showcasing it.

I found a great PBA telecast (Seattle Open 1990) on KZbin with Chris Warren hooking the lane (22 out to 2 and 4) with the blue pearl Hammer. Chris was seeded #2 and Voss #1. The final was amazing, so I won't spoil the result. Just don't read the comments for spoilers.

I still have my 16lb Blue Pearl from 1988. It’s my favorite ball of all time. I can no longer use it because of it being 16lbs and having a bad wrist.

Love the Ball in the work of re drilling my dad old inferno and its looks beautiful before and cant wait the get my games on its its was past down from my dad to my cousin cause i was too small to hold the weight then i got it and im hoping to show people that the ball helps but really its all about the bowler and the mental game we play. You played amazing.

U d da man!!!! That was the best ball ever made next to the black hammer!!! Never shot a 300 but my biggest game was with a blue pearl. Then the original nail. Mahalos for the awesome video!! Looking forward to the next one!! Happy new year ma braddah 🎉🎉
@traviskirk383413 күн бұрын
I put my blue pearl in retirement in 2019 because it was my dad's and I threw it in juniors and it was my go-to when all my reactive balls were not working.and I am serious about getting it back out and doing 120 grit trucut and polishing it for the league I bowl in on old wood on the 2nd shift of league.

Loved the blue pearl Hammer back in late 80’s. Had some of my best years with that ball. I do recall the weight block separated in a couple of mine. Pro shop operator told me there was a bad batch so he would replace it each time. Had the red pearl also but for some reason that Blue pearl just worked better fur me
@KingOfTVBowling14 күн бұрын
💯 agree and That’s awesome your PSO honored the balls that separated. Different times for sure. 👍🏻
@chrisfreemesser14 күн бұрын
IMHO those original Faball Hammers were the best bowling balls ever made, bar none. I still throw all of mine regularly, have honor scores with ALL of them, and they still work great on a THS

Hammer pearls were the real deal. I had the red pearl that got stolen. My junior team had two kids throwing the blue pearl and we won the league That ball was hitting like it did, 35 yearrs ago.

The pearls were great loved watching Steve Cook wheel them on the tour. He would blow racks with them!
@OldWorldAscension14 күн бұрын
@KingOfTVBowling I think Cook loved those balls. He was the first pro I saw warming up at the pro am I bowled in. Throwing a blue pearl drilled leverage, seemingly, and whacking the pattern.

I managed a 74 lane AMF center here in Windsor, Ontario in Canada and until the 1990's, we had those exact same masking units and cutter caps, even the color scheme is the same. Sure brings back a lot of memories watching this so many years later.

This was a great ball and still is. It's the ball that the great Mike Miller won his first PBA Title with, the 1991 PBA National Championship.

Still have one that I put in the bag when I go to lanes that I don't know, or am going really early or late. A nice 10 pin specialist for spares as well. But yeah if you drill it straight over the dot like that, it's not going to move a whole lot.

You ever bowled with a Radical The Spy? I have a slow ball speed, so it's amazing for me. It's a textured polyester bowling ball.

@jimward304324 күн бұрын
Do you think there's a big difference in the urethane bowling balls from the 90s like the nitro and the sumo and black angle and the thunderbolt and the turbo X compared to today's urethane balls like the purple hammer and IQ 78 and the Black Pearl hammer

Hell yeah man, I still have my 1991 RED Ebonite TURBO Urethane I got when I was 13! Highest game on that ball I bowled was a 299. Damn 5 pin! lol It became my spare ball for about 10 yrs until I retired it some years back. I brought it back out for a local tournament that still has Natural Wood lanes! Worked great, old lanes + old ball BOOM! Everyone else was using the latest n greatest hook monsters, having to switch balls like crazy. Not me, just dig in, down and in and stayed there all night! Took 2nd place that night!
