@@indyliv3328 Basically you just have to power the Soul Cube 5 times, by killing the Imps and Maggots that spawn in and he's gonesky. Worst "Doom" boss fight there is.

Another tip to counter revenant is to use plasma rifle. Aim at his chest area, the hitbox of the plasma rounds are so massive it blows up his rockets in his face. Also a way to counter charging melee commandos when you get to delta labs stay crouched when they do their initial melee attack but afterwards they will kick you

I sometimes forgot about the plasma gun, in favour of just hurling 'nades. Now if I had Nightmare unlocked, I'd have definitely utilised everything.

The original definitely had me on edge with the use of the flashlight. There was one particular sequence in the game that had me sweating bullets my first playthrough. One of the most memorable moments I've had in gaming. Laughed at my internal dialogue afterwards ROFL. I remember ammo being fairly scarce... You've got a crap tonne of grenades!

If they lowered the max ammo per weapon and/or the amount of weapons in the game, it may have turned out to be a pretty good survival horror game.

@@FuelTheHatred Dang now seeing this. Well I dunno if the BFG edition changed the ammo amounts/pickups, I am not sure of the official changes. But I swear the original was a bit tough trying to manage which gun to use.... But one thing stays the same though.... those damn Revenants ROFL.... certified pain in the @55 when that pops up, especially in those tight places. You make me feel nostalgic. Should try and play it again sometime.

When I played this when it first came out you couldn't use a flashlight and a weapon at the same time. This whole section was terrifying.

The marine grenade is a really good ability to have, good disruption and AOE damage.

Can even target ground if the enemy is in stealth ;)

Yeah, that first map you attacked is really hard to beat, you basically need to rush up to the enemy Base HARD. And don't build so many marines, just 2 - 3 is more than enough. Upgrade instead first.

My co-op partner wanted to handle all the ranged duties, while I focused on close combat. Plus I was aiming for a jump pack for my FC so I had two units to hammer down on enemies.

You can use the (X) button to retreat to the nearest reinforcement beacon. It's much faster than walking.

As Chaos, the horror unit is your anti armor unit, they can deep strike to any place on the map you can see.

Yeah. The earlier fights weren't as difficult as the later game. I let them gain too much ground before wiping them out. It has...been a while since I've played these games. Haha.

The reason your provinces are not going to 10 is because you do not spread out and capture enough rec on the maps and you do not build more bases.

Untl I stared this vod, I had no idea how much I'd missed my beloved Planet Brown and its beautifully bright sun. ;) I'm not a fan of the sneaky puppies with their evil grins. You definitely should have eaten a few of them after roasting them with your flamethrower. They'd be great with a little honey barbecue sauce. ;)
