So did Mark have issues with the shower. A hotel that I stayed in Munich the shower was a bit tight.

This was very helpful, it inspired our family to do the daytrip by train and it was a long day but a great day- Overlord Tours was fantastic! We had younger kids and some less knowledgeable about WW2 and the museum was actually great for them to be able to see stuff firsthand.

I am almost positive we are currently staying in the EXACT room you stayed in, and you two did a PERFECT job of explaining your stay in this video. Because of this video, we chose this hotel. For us, it is all about traveling on a budget, and we were able to take thIs trip for half the cost (and more) than had we booked elsewhere. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it is surprisingly comfortable, and the location is perfect. We have been able to walk or take a bus to anywhere we want to go. There is an abundance of food options all around and tons of shopping. THANK YOU for making one of the most complete, comprehensive give, and informative videos we have seen.

I just looked, and the rare for the same room I stayed in at the same time of year for the same length of time is $143 a night. Sure, it's doubled, but that's still not bad at all

I looked into that, and in my opinion taking the train to Caen and renting the car from there would be the best way to go. when I decided there were too many parts and deadlines for getting the Car back for a day trip, I researched half day tours and went with that instead. We're glad we did. Of course you could rent a can in Paris or even from CDG, but I didn't want to mess with toll roads in the countryside.

I'm visually impaired and doing research for my Munich trip. Was glad to discover this video however, disappointed to not see any information in the descriptor box. Hotel name, phone number or other contact information, what part of town the hotel resides in in Munich etc. etc. If this information worthy in the description below the video my phone would be able to read it to me. Forgive me if you flashed that information and text on the video, I would not have been able to see it. if you can share that information from this comment that would be great thank you

Thanks so much for this video. Very informative. My husband and I are currently in Paris and I want to surprise him with this trip to Normandy. We would do it on our last day in paris. Our flight leaves at 10pm ..do you think we can do the tour and make it back in time to be at the airport by 8/8:30pm

That would be difficult. Especially since you are supposed to arrive 3 hours before your flight, and the train from Normandy takes you to St Lazare, and then you have to connect to Gare de Nord, which will then take you to the airport

Thanks for the video review! It was the deciding factor for me. I live in Georgia and visit Helen a few times a year but usually stay at the Marriott or an air bnb. I was looking for something a little closer to town so your review sealed the deal for me on Heidi house. Next time you're in town, check out Bodensee for that authentic German feel. The owners are from bodensee, Germany and very friendly. She usually checks in and speaks to the guests. And the food is hands the best!
