the netflix cgi skeletor figure just pushed my love for this band to a whole new level 💀

@@Runamuck-vq2pe haha there's a story behind that figure! Federico hated that with a passion, for not being the original one. Jade instead simply loved the design. So she dared buying that and putting it together with classic Sorceress in the Eternia Castle.

After watching this again, I'm wondering if it was deliberate humor in calling the *drummer* to explain the music theory. I mean, we know *now* that Niso has completed his Master's degree in music, but I don't think we knew he was working on that at the time this video was posted. Or perhaps all the jokes about drummers not being "real" musicians isn't a thing in Italy? (For the record, I don't agree with the stereotypes.)

@@rikosborne1212 haha nice question! It was cause he specifically has been studying music theory since forever (and maybe we didn't make that public but back then it was enough to just pay a visit to one of his social network profiles to learn he was already pursuing that degree). No irony, though! There are drummers that know music theory and drummers that just know how to beat sticks against a surface, but even some accomplished guitarists, bass players and singers are missing theory completely!

@@FrozenCrown I enjoy learning about metal musicians who have formal music educations! I became a metal fan way back in 1980 when a lot of people, particularly those of my parents' generation, thought metal was just a bunch of noise and screaming. So when I find out about metal musicians with such education, I enjoy advertising the fact on my social media. My mother is an 80-year-old classical pianist, so I was particularly excited to show her the Japanese band Lovebites because guitarist/pianist Miyako is an amazing classical pianist who just happens to love the same composers my mother does. Then there is Kristin Starkey (now singing with Temperance) with her PhD in music, and of course Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish. Speaking of Lovebites (my other favorite band), did you guys get to meet them at ProgPower? I'd love to see Frozen Crown and Lovebites on the same stage :)

Jade playing guitar screams Avril Lavigne. Sorry. xD "I always get what I want" (Gimme what I want/Everything I don't got/So, gimme what I want/'Cause I'm a big shot) popped into my head - Maybe you can use this :) (yes I'm watching again... and again. and again. Federico, you're a great teacher :) Magnifico!) I agree with you. I get ideas when I'm walking around OR in the shower! (or around water in general!) 9:26 - Jade is Shao Khan lol.
