Great video. From the TV it looked like a dull course, but your video says other! Looks carnage! Nice work and well done on representing GB. What's your thoughts on some elite WT just getting a pass to race? Should it be more like CX and MTB where they should be at least gridded further back if they haven't qualified?

Yeah the TV made it look dreadful and tame. But it was actually quite a great course and one I would do again. As for the WT Elites I am all for it. I do think gridding could be looked at or a longer road/wide tracks start. I want to see the best kicking chunks out of each other. Maybe they just need to make it a UCI road based facet. But it’s still early days I am sure it will find its way.

🤣😂 I very much doubt it. I am one of these miserable road cyclists that feels it is for race day and only when selected. Which is why I struggled with the concept of having to pay for the kit(which I didn’t as I blagged it from a GB athlete). 🤣

Great vid pal, was looking at going to the gralloch next year to try and qualify for Nice, I thought the worlds was approximately 70 miles 112k? How come Belgium was 112 miles?

I think because it’s the worlds the distance is big for the Elites. Over 50s did 82 mile.
