Mia, how beautiful you are, how beautiful you sing, how beautiful you play ❤️

Dreams from the past and still able to bring smiles to my heart. It is hard to believe Frente first performed over 29 years ago but Angie Hart stills sings like an Ordinary Angel(s).

The long sobs of the violins of autumn wound my heart with a monotonous langour
@domosthereo13 All singers, nearly, put on an American accent simply because the vowels all rhyme. True. Even people singing in a regional accent (eg David Bowie, Madness, Midnight Oil) blur their "O"s into "A"s. Angie Heart has a strong Aussie accent in this clip, IMHO.

@vitr1ol I thought it was a commercial before the video for a second :)

@domosthereo13 I never knew she was Australian when I first noticed her singing in Buffy episodes, I just thought she had a strange voice, but now I know she's Australian it seems so obvious I'm amazed I didn't notice it sooner tbh.

I miss her with short black hair... But I'm just glad her voice hasn't changed since, nor has the accent... :)

I dont think it's about putting on an american accent, its more just how people naturally sing, it tends to be more coherent for some reason. It's probably a pronounciation thing.

dont flame me but i think she looked so much cuter with short hair and i was always a fan of the dark hair circa frente.

Judging from the line "listen with your eyes closed" I'm guessing the comment wasn't supposed to reflect the song but rather the video. Still what the purpose of the comparison is I can't imagine. So you're a Dolores O'Rierdan fan, great fine, I have no problem with her, but let Angie's work be judged on her own merits. Personally I think it's a beautiful clip. But then I've always been biased when it comes to Angie Hart.
