Why have I always not liked the character and script on Helen?

I have watched and laughed and talked to friends about that show for for most of my life. It was such a special show for so many reasons.

Howard Morris will be remembered for a long time, he was a very special Person, he was very funny, Andy Griffith Show will be on forever.

Wow, only 5 episodes! Hes seemed like a much bigger part of the show. I'm trying to think of any other TV character who only had 5 appearances... and is a house hold name, half a century later!

Ernie T Bass is the best, love the character !

I have seen people on Facebook that are supposed to be Andy Griffith Show fans say that they can't stand Ernest T and the Darlings. The way I see it, if you don't like the Darlings and Ernest T Bass you really don't qualify as a real fan. Stick to your Three's company and Who's the Boss and Laverne and Shirley and the like. And speaking of Three's Company, Don Knotts really lowered himself to take that job.
