Thank you for showing the double loop! I have heard about it, but this is the first I have seen it. I love the shawl and planning on making this.

Hi crochet O'Clock this is the First video I've seen from you. Alot of channels are talking about the copy right stuff with How Etsy and American Girl doll has taken down Etsy sellers who do homemade dresses for their American Girl dolls and sell the patterns and dresses they made and their own personal dolls are dressed in the outfits they made and

Love this pattern! I especially like that you didn't wear any crazy colored nail polish that would drive me crazy and ruin the video. Much, much love!

I’m glad I spent 20 minutes crocheting before the first square before you mentioned it having to be blocked…🫠. Time to frog and find a new pattern. Beautiful pattern though 👍

Thank you for this information. I searched for a crochet stitch that looks as close to knitting as possible. I used to knit many years ago but I prefer the crochet stitch. I also like Tunisian crochet but I want to crochet a winter cap for my sons and crochet is simpler to use than Tunisian Crochet for this project.

A copyright exists for the written pattern, not for the finished product. I can use a Martha Stewart cake recipe to bake and sell cakes in my bakery, and there is no copyright infringement. I cannot call it a Martha Stewart cake, I cannot Xerox and hand out the recipe.

Soulution is a new site minus people that are not likeminded. If they can do it others can too. I also left that site very quickly . I also don't care for Pintrest. Never use it. All though they try constantly to get me in there.

Do the motifs not slip around with the corners being joined like this? I’m making this shawl and it is very lovely. I’m just wondering how that works in the long run. Especially when wearing it.

If your family members have participated in every conflict that the US has fought in during the whole History you should be ashamed, not proud. USA's "business of freedom" caused a immensurable amounts of death, destruction and oppression here in the rest of the world.

I might try this in stylecraft acrylic dk because it’s what I have on hand, plus a 5mm hook. This is really lovely.

I always check the date on the video, and sadly this video is not 5 years old. We ae not in the same world today as it was then. At my Walmart, Mandala is now 344 yards per cake and $5.88 each on sale at Walmart. That is half the yarn for double the price. This is a very nice and informative video, but it is 2024. We survived the plague, however it destroyed the world's economy.

This is too advance for me. I’m just a beginner and slow. This is really beautiful, how I wish I can do this. But I’ll watch. It’s worth watching because the shawl is really really pretty 😍

Good info. I try not to , but it”s hard to sometimes know what can be used as far as crochet. It is not always clear and some things can just be easily made with no pattern.

Thank you so much for making this video. I am a crochet designer who, for the time being, can only make written patterns. I am facing the situation of finding youtube content creators distributing my paid-pattern without my permission, and that how I came across this video.

I know it’s odd….I’m using paintbox for the first time crocheting an Afghan for my granddaughter and she wanted pink lilac and white….the pink and lilac are fantastic but the white is rough running between my fingers. Would still buy it again but my main go to for colour yarn is style craft yarn 🎉 I live in the UK so it’s easy to get. My all time favourite is women’s institute yarns that are exclusive to Hobbycraft in the UK.

I mean I wouldn’t want to be on a site where people can freely agree with someone who doesn’t think I deserve human rights. It’s very easy for someone like you (a straight white woman) to say these things because his administration only benefits you. That being said, you are free to have your opinion and leave the site

realise this is old now but how would you go about stitching the motifs together if you wanted to make them individual. asking as I don't have space to lay the shawl out so joining as I go means I join the wrong part then spend more time undoing it than I do crocheting it so think it might be easier to sit and crochet all 79 motifs then stitch together. I'm thinking it will only be a stitch here and there to keep that lacy look.

Hello This is exciting. How can I see what the shawl looks like first. Also is there a written pattern. Thanks. Question. Is that yarn soft ? How many skeins did you need. Love shawls.
