Awesome my controller is the SMB 3 Nintendo one and it's almost exactly similar but with a rechargeable battery and it looks as though I can probably do the same thing because of how close they are.

I had like 20 saves on mine but the internal battery went dry so I went and swapped out the old battery, but after that it looks like the memory cartridge forgot everything on it as well :( Edit: turns out the cartridge needed to be plugged in again. I think the slot is a bit too unreliable

Dude you're a lifesaver!! This worked on my Bluetooth controller with a lithium ion battery. Just disconnect the battery first follow the steps in the video and BAM! Works like brand new 😁 Super excited, I haven't used this controller in a long time. THANK YOU !! 2024 🎮

This absolutely does nothing at all, still entirely cut off, can change the TV settings and aspect ratio, the entire screen doesnt even send to my TV, I can make it way smaller than the TV itself and still have an issue with it cutting off

It's literally the resolution settings, I can set it to the lowest resolution and see the entire screen at a 4:3 ratio, but as soon as I change the resolution the screen cuts off the entire bottom 6 inches of it

Wtf I did this and now my whole screen is black. I tried turning off and on the tv and the xbox, and even restarted my xbox and it still not working…

oh that sucks a lot I assuming you had messed with the settings and made your resolution bigger that your TV can handle or you had made your FPS limit bigger and now your tv cant scan the screen The only real fix that i know is that you memorize the whole xbox settings layout and try to put it back to normal without seeing your screen Or You could factory reset your xbox Sorry that this happen man

@@TBSCAPTif the guy has an xbox series x he csn just hold the xbox button on the console for 5 seconds when its on, then hold the disc eject button and xbox button for 10 seconds and itll be back to normal with all ur data and games intact

It was amazing how this worked! I was dubious because there didn't appear to be any residue to clean, but I still followed all the steps and it worked perfectly. I also used 70% isopropyl alcohol and it was fine.
