I just love that Ed Harris still respects this early work and the doors opened by Romero and the wonderful roles he was able to inhabit.

I’m probably going to catch some flack over this but here goes. I was 10 when I saw KNIGHTRIDERS on HBO. I loved the movie and still do. Here’s the part where I might get in trouble. Patricia was the first time I ever saw a nude scene in a movie and I thought she was perfect. She was the most beautiful woman in the world to me. She is still beautiful but I will never forget that. I hope that’s not too bad of a thing to say but there it is.

I loved Patricia Tallman in Knightriders, which is just another incredible Movie by George Romero. A movie with such a profound Message about the Path of "development" the human species has taken. Just another unique Gem. I think his Movies become more and more meaningful as time goes by. I think I am ready now even for "Jack's Wife" from 1972 again.

One of the few remakes which is superior to the original (though obviously not as iconic).

I always liked the remake more. I don't think the original had more tension. Maybe for the time. It kind of plays as a cheesy comedy today considering the over the top music and acting. It was a horror movie, acting is and was notriously bad. It was part of the camp that made it fun to watch. I can see how during the 60's it would be terrifying, the remake is much more unsettling today. I do think Karl did a good job selling his character though, likewise Duane did also. Their fued is believable. Overall i thought the acting of the supporting cast in the remake was a lot better. Methods advanced over the years and it shows. The music is more memorable as well. Though it plays off of the original. That droning beat when the zombies attack the house in the original is still epic lol. Both films are great. It likely comes down to which one you grew up with in all honesty. Joe Bob Briggs on TNT in 1996 or 1997 was my introduction to the remake, and years later i saw the original. I STILL have the remake VHS i bought at the mall in the 90's lol. The video game series Resident Evil (1-3 in particular) did A LOT to get a new generation into Zombies. So big props to that game.

Great remake, had the VHS back in the day. Sht i miss the 90's man lol. Had no idea people hated it lol, then again, had no idea Day of the Dead was disliked either, both are well liked now. . . funny how that works.

Patricia Tallman was so badass in that movie. She played a very human character that came to grips with the situation and cowboyed up real quick. All of the cast and crew did an outstanding job on this movie they really did the original justice.

Nope, no one ever mentions the attic. One way in which isn’t possible for the zombies even with the ladder. You can see help coming for miles. You could carry supplies up there if need be you can jump to the tree, climb down and run off. Clearly the best choice. And yes there is an attic because you can see the ladder is down. 👍

I have adored this actor since 2010. I have been proud of this man for many years now. Just yesterday I watched a movie. It was nice that it was translated into Russian. This means that even more people will see it. I liked the movie because of the atmosphere in the style of George Romero or Sam Raimi films about Ash. I envy you guys in a good way. Ps. 43:56 and 45:51 😂😂😂😂 I love it

Knightriders is a special movie for me. It showcased that Romero can make great films that are outside of the horror genre. This film showcased George's writing skills, interweaving complex stories with a large cast and balanced with his signature charm. I consider this a personal film from George, because by watching it, one gets to know the man behind the camera a little more. This unique film holds a special place in my heart. George Romero...you are dearly missed my friend.
